Hello everyone, and welcome to this seven minute leadership podcast. It's episode four forty four and today I want to talk about something that might just change the way you lead your business, your team, and even the way your customers see you. It's called an MTP slogan, and if you don't have one, you need one. MTP stands for massive Transformative Purpose and then this episode, I'm going to tell you how to make one. An MTP slogan is more than just a catchy phrase or a marketing tagline.

You have a mission statement, but this is more than a mission statement, and it deserves to be visible everywhere in your business. It's the heartbeat of your organization. It tells your people, your customers, and even yourself why you exist beyond making a profit. An MTP slogan is meant to be bold, memorable, and aspirational. It's a line that unites employees and customers under one mission. Think about some

examples that you already know. Google's MTP has been described as organized the world's information Tesla's is accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy, and ted talk says their purpose is ideas worth spreading. These are short, clear, and they drive every decision those companies make. Now, let's break this down for your employees. First, when your people walk through the doors every day, they need to know they're not

just clocking in and they're part of something bigger. An MTP slogan gives them a sense of pride, belonging, and clarity. Imagine if your business slogan is we help people get home safe. That means every single employee, from the receptionist to the top executive, knows that their job isn't just paperwork or sales or even answering the phone. It's making sure families see each other at the end of the day. And that's powerful. And now let's flip it. What does

it mean for your customers? An MTP slogan tells them instantly who you are and what you care about. It separates you from competitors. Customers don't just want a product or service, They want to align themselves with something they believe in. If your slogan is connecting communities through reliable service. Then your customers see you not just as a utility or a vendor, but as a partner in their quality of life. And let's get practical here for a minute.

If you run a restaurant, your MTP slogan might be creating comfort one meal at a time. And if you run a gym, it could be building stronger people for a stronger tomorrow. And if you run an ambulance service like I do, it might be answering the call so no one faces crisis alone. Each one of these tells your employees why their work matters, and it tells customers why they should trust you. And here's the leadership point. An MTP slogan forces you, as the leader to stay aligned.

It becomes the test you run every decision through. Is this policy, this higher, this investment support our massive transformative purpose. If not, you don't do it. That clarity keeps you from drifting into mediocrity or losing the trust of your people and your customers. So my challenge to you is this, don't settle for a slogan that just sounds nice on a billboard. Build an MTP slogan that's bold, clear, and purpose driven. Sit down with your team and ask yourselves,

why do we exist? What do we want to be known for in ten years? And then write it into a single powerful line. Or take your mission statement and core values to chat EPT and ask it to develop an mtp slogan based on those. Once you have it, repeat it often, put it on a wall, put it in your emails, say it in meetings, and live it because when your people live it and your customers see it,

your business moves from ordinary to extraordinary. This has been the seven minute Leadership podcast and I thank you for listening.
