Episode description

Live from the Figus Studio it’s Weekend Geek Update, Sponsored by BrickSlopes Colorado ( Brickslopes.com ), the first locally owned and operated LEGO event debuting April 26-27, 2025 at the Stockyards Event Center. Tickets available now and receive a 10% discount on your purchase when you use the “staygeeky” at checkout, looking forward to seeing you there.

It’s a wild week of trailers and new shows as Smurf reviews the new animated Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man on Disney+ that has been getting some rather mixed reviews. Characters we’ve seen, some of the twists so far and some tributes that stand out while on Prime we get the return of Invincible for season three. Heart Eyes might be the film to take that special someone this weekend but if your flying solo the new Captain America might be a better option.

Also, the fate of Sandman and Gaiman’s other projects as more sexual assault allegations come out, Twisted Metal season two and Borderlands 4 coming soon and we’ve got a trailers for both. The mystery surrounding Kang the Conquer deepens, Thunderbolts replacing the Avengers, and the Fantastic Four has a few fans talking but not for the reasons you would think. All of this and more for your Weekend Geek Update!
