Brit Gilmore Works to Transition Homeless Back Into the Workforce

Brit, a native of Detroit, is the former President of The Giving Keys, a company that employs people transitioning out of homelessness in Los Angeles to make inspirational jewelry and accessories. After 7 years of testing and iterating an employment program that employed 130 people transitioning out of homelessness, she has turned her focus to systems change work and scaling the model to get thousands of people transitioning out of homelessness back into the workforce across a variety of industries through her social impact consulting practice. Brit also consults and advises social enterprises and has begun working in the impact investing space with impact investing firm Aneuvia. Brit made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2017.
