guys, Uh, thank you, Natasha, thank you very much. A father of two, grandfather of five, which I never thought we had. But hi, Kathy, doya are you? So I thought, I, um, well, if for a little bit and say hello you guys, because I actually have been up already. So I reunited with Tammy and Amanda yesterday. We had a great five hour extravaganza. And then this morning I already got up and had breakfast with my family. Um so um so I I did done that. So I gotta figure out when we do for lunch
and for dinner to day. But I want my glasses skills are really so I won't be with my kids and grandkids. They're they're already texting me and you know when we've faced time and that kind of stuff. But I won't be with them. Unfortunately, they live far away and we couldn't work it out. So unfortunately I'll be alone for Father's Day and the rest of the day, but I did spend time with for my family. This morning. We had a very good breakfast at a place called pans here in South LA,
the Lax area. And my glasses on because it's my eyes are irritated. There you go, Um and uh and uh. So let's happened so far. Thank you for Ash's Thank you Kenneth Clarke, thank you, bridget you guys. Yes, topote it to Papa to quote it again. This year, my latest grand baby and I come from Starbugs. My sister treated us, treated me, her husband and her father in law for breakfast. As her tradition, she's the men for breakfast. So we had a good
I had a good I had catfish and eggs. It was the mom and some bacon. It was so good. I'll put I think I posted a picture of my my socials really good. Well. Also, it's the first. It's a little sad for me. It's the first Father's Day without my father's. My stepdad died in January and my other stepdad grew up with died last July. So this is the first Father's Day without any father figures or fathers of my life. Um, it feels a little weird. Itels a
little empty. So we're kind of so we happy heavenly Father's Day to Moses and Daddy Larry on both of them, maybe together looking down and saying hello. Um So I talked to my mom this morning. It's our first Father's Day without my my stepdad. Um so it's it's a it's a little at a little twins of sadness, but we're also celebrating. Oh, Kenneth, it was good that calffish was the ball. It was cooked perfectly, It's fried, it was right seasoning, made by black fog. It was it
was. It was really good. So it was good. So I'll tell you agether it was good. Um So, Papa ate very well this morning. Um but no, thank you. It's it's been. Um So it's been kind of both bitter sweet but also nice things. I'm a father, so I'm carrying on the fatherhood. I'm the paid stark of my family now. So I am just weird four years old. Um but I already think both of my son in laws having Fathers Day this morning. Um and and so, and I'll hear from my I'm trying from my I heard from one
daughter. I'm trying from the other one the grand kidlets and the star's coffee has to kick in because I'm like, I've been been coffee at the restaurant and I was doing it um and so an. They were asking me what does Father's Day mean to me? And I'll tell you something. Just just my little ship, I said a lot of times. You know mothers good question too. Keith's like, what do you think? Do you think? What do you think? Good day? And daytime of daytime. I'll get

But for me, a good dad period, because I'd have a good father biological father. Um, So my stepdads became well. I said that Larry
became the father that I needed. Um. And then Moses was just a good He wasn't really my father, he was a good man to my mom. So yes, it was Yesked the dog said, um, but I just for me um. As a black man, we get a lot of flack um for not being there. And there are many of us black men who are there with our kids. And I saw so many today. It was wonderful. At this restaurant. We were all saying high to each other.
We were all saying happy fathers ate each other. It's like it was very nice to see that there are black men out there who are who are involved their children's lives and everything. And I know that mothers a lot of the responsibility when was they give birth to many cases give birth to their children, and a lot of responsibility to understand that we love our mothers. I
love my queens. I do I celebrate to my mother's day. But for me, I want to celebrate the good fathers, the fathers who and grandfathers who are around. I had some great good grandfathers also who are around for me. And you know, people believe it or not in my opinions is my opinion as you. I think everyone every child needs good strong role models,
male and female. But they both, um, and that's something that I think, and you know, in the male one, I think boys even to see how men run and girls and see how men are and get's very important. Um. And So my bad fathers had come in any color, any race, and he saw highs any shape. UM. So we need to kind of get that narrative out there. And then did just be bad. My father wasn't the greatest either, And but not because he's because
he was black or part white or whatever. It doesn't mean anything. He just that there's some people. Some people are just good on good parents. I chose to be the father that I didn't have for my girls. I was heavily involved. That's why I'm close to both my daughters. Um. I went to see I went to track meets and swim meets and daught father daughter dances and I paid for you know things, and for education and stuff and and now for my grandkids. It was very involved the first set,
you know, visiting come back there being involved. Let make sure with them, Um, some of us are good. Some of us out there are actually doing good. And I know a few folks you've had good fathers themselves. So if you have a good father, please cherish that, whether he's here or not, please celebrate that. And I celebrate them. And those who aren't I feel bad for you because having children is one of the greatest things also one of the hardest things in your life, but it can be
very rewarding. So I just want to and those who can't have children by biologically or otherwise, my heart goes out to you. If that's what you want, My heart goes out to you. And I just want to acknowledge you today too, because I know some folks have tried. If you lost fathers and get that also, hy Ethel. You know, so any fathers watching this, hey, Father's Day to you, it's it's something and you
know it's funny, you know. And kid brings up on soaps because soaps are so out of control and they're so all over the place, and because characters are not characters are complex. Many of our soap dad so I was doing the specials made a soap dad actually loved their children and really want to be involved their lives. But they either too controlling or they have I have other sides to them that are the greatest. Um, but they love their
children. I was thinking about I was thinking about Sonny on General Hospital and how he actually like Christina coming out of the closet. He was those those teams were beautiful. He totally accepted her. Um. And there's is pride month such a great he was a great example though it didn't matter to him, and he loved Christina and he totally accepted whatever she was, whatever she
was, she just he accepted it. And it was like then and it said that was he was like no matter what, um, you know, and I see naming Jack or Nick, you know, I mean that's the thing. It's like, I think there's there's mixtures. I mean there's you know, there's I think every father you could say was Erica goold father on
Bold and Beautiful. UM. You know, he was very revered. I think of Sean Brady on days, you know, I think I think of um, some think some of the good guys like what good guys are there? Um exactly. So it's kind of it's kind of funny. It's like gets on soaps. What I mean, everything's soap in the air because everything is so convoluted. It's like, you know, you know what what is a you know what? I just it was so funny looking at soaps and
then looking at real life. Nobody's perfect. I am not the perfect parents. I am not perfect by no means. I even liked that word perfect. I not do everything correctly. I make mistakes. Um. I probably cuddled my kids too much and made them the way they are. I love it. Sometimes I'm sure you know I did the best that I could. You know, I was nineteen years old when I when I first had a baby, put my arms. You know that's nineteen. I wasn't grown up. I mean, I was just I just I don't know. I was
just like figuring out as I went along. And I do the best that I could. But I think at least my intentions and I and my what I try to accomplish was always there was that I will love you unconditionally. I am here for you and do my best. And I think this one is, you know, we all grow we all grow up, especially when you're a young parent. You grow up with your children. So it's in
a weird way. Um, if you're an older parent, maybe you're maybe you're a little more relaxed, Maybe you don't maybe you don't that as involved. Maybe you can't be as involved because you're too you know, who knows. I think it's just I think it's a good representation that I learned that my parents were human when I became a grown adult. That's that's the thing. I learned that my parents are human. You know. It's it's it's it's very much. That's what it is. They made me say. And
I you know, I grew up in the seventies and eighties. I was a latch key kid. I started working fourteen, fifteen years old. My parents were out there fighting themselves. I mean, it's like there's a lot of things I think back and go, um, I shouldn't have been on the streets of Hollywood at fifteen, you know, partying, I mean, okay stuff. They don't think that body should have did. Um, But I tryed out decent id Voge spite of it. But my generation was a
lot more. We were We were strict in some areas and then laxa daisyl on some other other areas. Gen x is a little interesting. I mean, so, yes, I know my parents are here a human it's crazy. Um. But that's what's so funny, right, that's so a point. It's like it is it's about realizing that your parents are are adults. And I think what should become once you become an adult, whether you're a parent or not, once you become an adult, you start to see that
a little more. It's always hard to see your parents as just fully functioning flaws and all adults. Um, you know, because we had because we look as we began our lives looking to them to me this thing right, um, that has all the answers and we'll take care of us and all that, and I didn't, you know, didn't work. So I look at that and I go, okay, thank you, Natasha. I have I've tried to be you talk to my daughters. I've tried well. I
did a zoom once my daughter came on and and talk to you. Got talked to the new who are in the zoom and tell him how much said she appreciates you guys, and how much she loves me. So that was one zoom. She did say that came in mello. Daughter hasn't an I zooms yet, but I I I appreciate that both of my daughters love me very much and they accept me for who I am, um, and you know, they trust me, and we have a close relationship. So and
we fight everybody else fights and stuff I have. I have a Scorpio daughter and a and a Capricorn hotter and I'm a tourist. So there you go. So we have our moments, but I love them very much and I would do anything for him if I can't, if I had to, I just I would. Um. So I like being a father, I like being a grandfather. I love being a grandfather. I love being paternal, I love I love all this stuff. It's just a it's a thing that's been with me ever since I was young. I always had to take care
of younger siblings, you know that kind of thing. I was always one of the older ones. I think, you know, I just gotta take care of thing. I am completely just like, Yeah, I love it. I do, and so and they know I am here. If they need me for anything, I guess all it is, right, It's all I'm telling you. The parenting does not stop at eighteen years old. People you know say oh you know, Oh, I'm done. You know you're I'm done, You're done Somewherea's not you know. I do by probiotic,
So I'm getting messages to my friends if i have to chew that. If I have to chew this, it's a gumming. I don't get paid for it. But by ali probiotics, I make sure my stomach is good. No system alight. But yeah, so anyway, so yes, that's um, I've tried. My intention was always to be the father I didn't have, and I think I accomplished that. Then I had some good grandfathers. I think I was. I think I've been emulating them. But they the
grandkids. I love my grandkids. So they're all cute, and they're smart, they're funny, and they're individual. There's all you want. And I'm just telling you, being a parent it's one of the hardest things period in life. Um and so, but again for me, it's all the dance and vocing on all the dads and that's what and that's what this means to me. I would saying it's like I said, say, it's bitter sweet for me. Um, but hopefully you know it'll be okay. But I
can celebrate all day. It's about me, about me, I guess, not my friends. Who our fathers? So I saw you guys who are here and here? H do you guys? I wish was one of my zooms. I just ask you myself and he just talk to me. But anybody here, Um, anybody here have fathers or close their father I know we just said you know a good father either, so you understand anybody have a good father. So I'm like, actually got curious they might have a good father. Um. And as there's some out there, I mess my
friend's fathers who are good. But I'm just like, anybody else have a good father. While I'm waiting for that. Um. So my zoo events this this next weekend to begin again Happy hours on Friday. So it was like, and so, yeah, so Breezy's back, hardy, that's crap. I'm like, oh my god, it's I was so heartbroken. I thought I want to get out. She she survived near death. And then I was
like, oh, but her dog is back with her. So I was like, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, So I was so happy that you're back, Soppy, but yes, I'm gonna continue doing the video shorts Lucy's and many of them are were continue doing those. There are a lot of fun shorts are in right now. People like shorts. Have you love phone content? I do shorts so old people like it, so yes and say it's not It's not sunny in that la today. We talked to her this morning but she's like, yeah, her, Lucy's gonna hang out this relaxed watching TV. And so I was like, Okay, I understand that it wasn't a big day for us because I have my own families kind of stuff. Um, I always gave stuff to Moses, which is kind of weird, Like b they're like both people are behind
anything for Moses this year, So I guess almost a habit. I started looking, um and at lease followers stay. I've always followed state cards like we're not going, but you're the best day. Not for them. I guess I have no followers above me. Love's ky. It's it's very interesting to have that at this age, at fifty four. But it's like many of you guys have lost the parents, so you already know what it feels like, you know. So, But it's been a it's been a very
long week. So yesterday was much needed with the girls. This morning was most needed for myself. Um and so yeah, so we're we're hanging in the High Tracy Stevens's ranging there. So I did get my room at the Green Valley Ranch in Vegas. So July seventeen, nineteenth, I'll be talking to you guys more about that as I'm starting to put some plans together. But I am going. Actually the hotels it's ready for me and everything the resort, so it's ready for me. But I will I will put something
