Excuse me called fifty plus fifty years ago, forty years ago, thirty years ago. Now we're at twenty years ago. I came twenty years ago. We're at two thousand and three. Yes, where were you? I am happy to talk about chousand and three. I was living in San Francisco. Still, I had a newest job working at farm an agg for insurance skills
center for the Big Eye of insurance here in California. It was called IBA West. I was at the time, at two thousand and three, I was assisting my best friend in the conference planning I had become. I don't think I had become a director yet. I think I was still like an assistant conference planning event management. And I also I was an assistant for education for CE for the brokers. So I was doing that living in San Francisco.
Can remember if I was dating anybody, raising the kids and in Sacramento and living my life. So normally I show a picture. The pret's time, I'm gonna show you something. So back in the day American Express them. They used to come out with these special books every year, these planning books, and they were beautiful, and so for a few years they were doing this. I would get them now, I'd have American Express. But my aunt did and somebody else and who did too, So we didn't order
these books the American Express appointment. Do you remember this? People? See we had embroiled JLJ. So thank you two who got things for me. But in two thousand and three, at two thousand and four, a two thousand and five, I have a whole drawer of my journals. I kept these because I wrote a book about my life, and my life is in here. So even twenty years ago, six years before I began organizing, I was already organized, and the beautiful leather bound they had how to use
the book. It's probably I wish they kept doing this. They stopped doing that after a while. And all kinds of goodies, I mean, calendars, all your personal didting going here. If you're listening to this, I'm showing it. So I've written here my life as it was back in two thousand and three. So I'm gonna look, I'm sitting here and it's got randomly going here and see what. Okay, so on my schedule, Oh my god, it's like so funny. Oh that's right. I was still
a video control Okay, I just fought. Okay, So I found these in my history. So I have a show on this channel called Independent Voices. So with the Big Eye, I came back to them after eleven years of leaving and started running a podcast. And I always talk about my life and how it started there. Well, here's one of the things. So I that's ready for LA Seconda's so funny. That was what I So in the begining chous and three, I was we'king a place called video control.
It was a video storm at my job, my second I had a shift from ten thirty three. But then on the seventeenth, So first I went to LA on the fourteenth apparently, came back on siding just more weekend, came back on Sunday. I started next job, which was since the seventeenth, which was they had a thing called the Agribusiness Conference. It was in the early stages. I've got for the first or second one in Sacramento. So I went to help my friend out during the assistant or whatever he needed,
and I took a vacation week from my job Real Control. I had vacation time, so I was getting paid there and I was getting paid a new job. So apparently I left m on the eighteenth, came back on the twenty first. That's so funny. Then the oscars were twenty third of March. They went to Sacramento. They went back to Sacramento in twenty eighth, see my kids. But it's so funny. I'm just like, wow, look at this. Anyway, I hadn't seen that. I also wrote
down my taping schedule. When the tape stuff, it says tape Girlfriends, nine PM, Channel forty four. Twenty years later, I doing after so far take Judging Amy, Oh my godness, that is so funny. The Family Survivor the Amazon far Escape series ending March twenty first, two thousand and three. John, don't do that series when I'm sick in Factor road Rule, Real World Road Rules Challenge. I literally married by America, so I'm
so called the Family. I can't remember that. Twenty four Uh Sorority Life, Oh my god, life with Body, Buffy Scrubs. That is hilarious. I've I did that on April eighth, twousand and three. I got the new Madonna CD single that is I left we on my phone video video Control on April fourth, So I guess it's it's kind of funny. So this just tells my life. These books were the bomb. Like I said, what am I? I'm running a story about my life. So you
guys, this stuff will be integrated in there. But these are nice, nice books. They're only for a couple of years. They ain't doing very long. It's a little piece of the past. I wonder what happened to him anyway, and you, uh, let's get into it. They called the American Express Apartment Book. That's what we're called. Okay, So normally I do what I've been doing. If you watch the last ones and eighty three series seems to be most popular. It's kind of funny. So these
will see how these go. But I'm gona finishes out. I do top ten singles, top ten albums of the year, top ten movies, and top ten TV shows of that season. Today, just a little different, We're gonna do a top ten singles, top ten albums, top ten TV shows, and top ten World Adventures of two thousand and three. They vote to all voted to travel. These are top ten places they wanted to go,
So let's start with that first. I have it over here, so I'm looking up to the side, but I had to I haven't know the computer over here. So they're top top ten places were said they wanted to go to travel destinations in twenty or twenty years of two thousand and three. Number ten was Nepal, number nine, believes okay, number eight, Australia, number seventh place I like to go, Antarctica, number six, Alaska. Number five was Cuba. Number four is China. Number three was Egypt,
number two Peru. Love the food, and the number one destination up from being number three the year four Galapalos the islands. Okay, we never guessed that China was number one the previous year and Cuba was twenty five previous year, now to number five, so I don't know what happened in that year like that. That was the history. So Glappo Galapo. I can even say Galapalos Islands were number one. I love islands, so that makes sense to me. I like islands, so that was good. So the
top ten richards, I said a little different. I'm going to have a different order to you, Like, this is a little different for you guys. Now we're gonna do the top ten rated shows the season of twenty twenty twenty, two thousand and three, thousand and four. I don't choo two thousand and two, chousand and three because to me, the beginning of the season is two thousand and two. That's a whole different year. So due the beginning of chousand and three, the fall going in chousand and four,
he's been top ten shows of that year. But the way they haven't, the way the ratings are is gonna be a top eleven and number eleven is without a trace CBS. I used to like that show. Actually, number ten, I guess it's Tide. Number nine ten. It's kind of tied. Monday Night Football, ABC and everybody loves Raymond CBS. Number eight CSI Miami. Number seven Survivor, which is still out there today, is so
funny. Number six. My favorites er Or as you know it as Er number five Lady became president The Apprentice, and I used to watch it. I was an Apprentice fan. I used to watch it on NBC and e RS NBC two Friends, number four NBC, Maye ratter pray recipes and number two and number three from Fox and I didn't watch it. American Idol Wednesday was number three and Tuesday Night was number two and the number one show. I remember this, This franchise was so big. The number one show CSI,
Crime Investigators, Crime See Investigation CBS was number one. Just a little side note, Law and Orders over twelve, Will and Grace was over thirteen, and My big fat obnoxious Fiance from Fox was under fourteen. Kind of funny. Well those are on there. Bachelor Bacherette in the top twenty one, so today's those are all those. Now we're gonna do the Top US,

US Billboard two hundred Albums year end for two thousand and three is the biggest sellers, and back then you had to buy it go stream, you had to buy it two thousand and three at number ten, Christina Aguilera the stripped number nine. Tim McGraw on his album Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors one of my favorite albums. At number eight, Fallen by Evanescence bring Me to Love. Yeah, that's my song. That was my whole album. Was my song, my whole album. Number seven he
went an Oscar. He wasn't there at the Oscars, but he went an Oscar for his song Lose Yourself eight Mile soundtrack. Number six of my favorite groups of all time. I still play them today. Mediora My Lincoln Park was their second album, Mediora. That was such a good album. Number six God Hybrid Through is the first New York second. I was a huge family and probably made Chester when he rest in peace. Great album. Her five, Let Go Avril Levine or how big she was? Number four when

physical sales. Back then it was physical sales. And number ten Bring Me Alive Evanesce between Paul McCoy, Number nine, Picture Did Rock featuring Cheryl Crow, Number eight and we Do Miss You Aliyah, Oh my god, my friend loved this song at number seven right there, shinging. Number six never got into them. I think Rob Thomas was hot back then. Massed back
twenty and I'm just a little unwell. Number five, three Doors down with when I'm Gone, Oh my god, number four, this song came out like Gang Buzzards, Da Crazy in Love Beyonce featuring Jay Z, and there were three. He was big for a while too, Sean Paul would get busy, and number two he was a good songwriter and stuff, but you know he's flightful doing now r Kelly with Dignition with the Keen Ignition and the number one song two and three like the number one album two thousand and three,
fifty cents with in the club. I know Fitty said, had a bunch of songs on here. He had he had twenty one questions was my I love twenty one questions for Nate Dog. He had p A M P Yeah, Majestic rate, little Kim Yeah, A bunch of songs, and then one of my just I just on a side, not one of my favorite songs, heaby boy, you stay on my mind fulfilled my fantasy. Back then, all I know is that I'm in my thirties by now, I'm a grandfather by now, and I just know the next I know I did, the next six years of my life would completely
change and be leading my way here. So the next time we come back, that will be twenty thirteen, and I will have been living in Los Angeles for about five years by then or four years by then, so it's a whole life.
