Hey there, Danny here. And this is a special bonus episode of 4 Rando Questions. Today, June 27th marks one year since the show launched. Honestly, when I hit record on the first episode, I wasn't sure exactly where this was going to go, but I knew I wanted to create a space for unscripted, unfiltered and sometimes totally unexpected conversations. In the past 12 months, I've had a chance to chat with 30 amazing guests.
Some podcasters, some creators, some entrepreneurs, and some folks who were just curious humans willing to say yes and jump in the random questions hot seat. There's been many highlights in the last 12 months and some of them have included having podcast industry friends like Lauren Passell, Tom Webster, Arielle Nissenblatt, Dave Jackson and more open up in fun non-industry conversations. Meeting new people like Freddy Cruz, Dawn Brodey, Mike Boon, Mandy Kaplan and others.
Hearing surprising answers that made me rethink questions I thought I already knew. And conversations started light but landed somewhere much deeper. And one cool bit of recognition along the way: 5 Random Questions was named one of the Five Best Independent Podcasts of twenty twenty-four b Ear Worthy Media, which honestly blew me away.
But most of all, a huge thank you to you, the listeners for taking a chance on a new podcast and for sharing the show, and introducing it to other listeners who enjoy podcasts that don't quite follow the norm. Year two is already shaping up to be just as weird, wonderful and unpredictable as year one. More creators, more fun questions, more unfiltered answers, and maybe even a few fun new wrinkles to the format.
Thanks again for being part of this, and if you've got a guest you'd love to hear on the show, drop me a note. I'll leave a link to that in the show notes. I'm always looking for interesting people to throw five random questions at. Alright, back to your regularly scheduled programming and I'll see you when 5 Random Questions returns for season 4 at the end of July. Until the next time, keep asking those questions.
