Speaker 1

Practice into it is your role here very different than it is very similar.

Speaker 2

Uh, it's a different, different type of defense that I played in Philly.

Speaker 3

I guess it ain't.

Speaker 2

It's more of a four down front instead of switching into a three four. And you know, I was kind of playing the four I and I was playing I was still playing the three in the two.

Speaker 3

Was in Philly too, but I was doing a little bit more.

Speaker 1

Yvon, how are you a different pass rusher? Uh than you were when you were in South Carolina State?

Speaker 3

How is your your rush progressed?

Speaker 2

I think just being in the league, you just pick up on things from playing with a great some great defensive lines and great defensive coaches.

Speaker 3

Uh.

Speaker 2

I just kind of take a little bit from everybody and kind of just keep trying to progress and keep getting better and improving my game.

Speaker 1

Just in here and said he's never worked with a group like this where if one person comes off the field, the next one goes in and there's no drop off at all. Do you feel that same me, that like that same feeling towards your defense line?

Speaker 2

Yeah, I know we got a real talented defensive line, but like you said, I don't play to again with some some great defensive line. Now it's just we up there with with all the people out done played with before. So it's just, uh, it's just good to come in and seeing so much talent around me and just trying to bring what I bring to the table.

Speaker 1

What was it like good landing up across from rock Party not in the NFC Championship.

Speaker 3

I mean it was cool.

Speaker 2

Uh you know, It's just it's a different feel now, uh with these being my teammates, so I can't really hit him uh anymore.

Speaker 3

So it's a little different nowadays. Does U there's.

Speaker 1

Still some kind of back and forth and three nine ers and beadles about if we're out our quarterbacks we would have won and all that stuff.

Speaker 3

Uh do you talk to you new teammates like about that game at all? Or is that just a subject.

Speaker 2

Straight away from Yeah, don't really talk about it cause it's a little I'm over here now, so I can't really talk about what happened last year, So I uh, I don't even say nothing about that game.

Speaker 1

Now that you got to to like for him for a little while, what's been your observations to coach concern?

Speaker 3

Uh?

Speaker 2

He he's very passionate or what he do, and he really just want the best out of everybody. So he's just somebody who kind of motivates us before practice and just try to bring everything he got and making us better.

Speaker 1

You gotten to know Javon Kinlaw at all?

Speaker 3

And and what do you think about his his game? I know he's a different sort of player than you are, but he's uh impressed that the coaches so far as Offeason.

Speaker 2

I kind of im at Javon like a few years ago, so I kind of I knew him a little bit before I got here. But he's just easy, he wants he's a he's a free and uh football standpoint, just being strong and fast and you can just see he he got a little hunger about him this year and just uh just out there working and uh to improve his game every day. Okay, why or how did you meet him?

Speaker 3

Uh? A couple of years now? Uh mutual friend. We was like at the uh same little house. Uh.

Speaker 2

He my best friend and he knew my best friend, just just so happened to run into each other.

Speaker 3

That COVID year describe is very humble. You go say much and you meet your chest much. Wh Where does that come from? I mean, is that an improvement you guy in your life or is it just.

Speaker 2

The road mutable did?

Speaker 3

Uh? I think that's just the way I was raised. Uh.

Speaker 2

I just I don't know. I don't I don't really try to think too high myself. I just know I can always get better and things I've been doing, so I just I always took that approach to keep my head down and keep working. And it's just how I go about my days.

Speaker 1

H that's the personality of the entiretyess line. Is that part of the reason why you f feel like you fitting so well here?

Speaker 2

Yeah, it's just a bunch of hard working guys. Ain't really uh too big a ego. Just everybody is one.

Speaker 3

And that's kind of how to coach. Uh I coach kind of talked to us. So it's kind of that with everybody. I said, how you get a pass rush?

Speaker 1

You know, you're not a classic pass rush look to pad levels that just you just get lower. Is that is that how you say you you you get.

Speaker 3

Your pass rush? He? Uh, I got a little bit of uh, a little bit of everything.

Speaker 2

But uh, I think my leverage definitely helps me a lot, just being able to get onto some of the bigger guys and just use it to my advantage.

Speaker 3

Think we're designed here.

Speaker 2

You mentioned that just give you the opportunity to get the contract, but also go to a place that wins, which was the unusual.

Speaker 3

They've been really close, haven't been able to get over the hump three in the last four years.

Speaker 1

How much do you just kind of feel being here, the sense of urgency to get over the hump?

Speaker 2

And I think that's what uh everybody really talk about around here, is uh trying to get to the big game and win it. So I just come in just being there last year and losing that. I just want to same thing that they wanted. Just come out here every day with that same approach.

Speaker 3

Anything else with gay on good thing, mm hmm
