Um, Fred, when you know an oppointent as well as you know the Seahawks, Kyle said that it's kind of hard to trick each other. You're you're so familiar. Is there anything different in terms of preparation that you do or do you just know them so well that, um, it's more comfortable in a way of getting ready for this game. Yeah. No, I mean whole teams that know each other really will obviously being division rivals and who play very similar styles of football. And you know, I
think it is what it is. You gotta we both know what we're gonna do. You know, it's just a matter of going out who's gonna execute better, who's gonna make less mistakes, who's gonna take the ball away, who's gonna protect the ball? Um? And that's how the game we played, Fred, was the Chiefs lost with the turning point in the season because you guys haven't I guess, so I guess you could say that you know, Um, yeah,
it was. It was kind of It was for sure wake up call for our defense, you know, going out there and not playing in our style. And um, we've we've had to find different ways to win all season long, regardless of if we're on a ten ten game win streak or not, like you see all different types of ways of winning every single week. Um, so it's been it's been a great, great season. Gonna keep you going.
How big is playoff experience? And now you're a veteran at this and there's some guys that haven't been, but maybe going back to your first playoff game to where you are now, how really big is it? You can Yeah, I know, I think it's it's all about just not
making a situation bigger than what it is. Um you know, I knew that back when I was a young guy, just from the older the older guys like rich and uh you know Staley, all all those guys, And you know, it's at the end of the day, it's still football. You know, you want to you want to play at your best, but that doesn't mean going outside of what you already do. You know, you just got to make sure that you're, you know, really detailing the way that you prepare and then when you go out there, you
just you play with your hair on fire. What have you seen differences wise compared to the first played them, compared to when we last played them or first played there, third, third go around. Now, Yeah, um no, I mean they
a lot of a lot of the same stuff. Obviously, they want to they want to run the ball, you know, they want to rely on on on walk there too, to tote the rock because he gets such a talented running back and get the run game going to then open up the pass game for for Gino d k Lockett, all those guys. Um, you know, so a lot of the same and there's kind of a sense that the right guy everybody's helping right now and that you guys, winners of tenant row, you couldn't be playing in best
football this season. But I've also had some guys in the lock them saying, well, we're still not as good as we as we can be. So is there a sense that I mean, that's probably how you want to feel, going, yeah, I'd say that's more so. You know, it's all about a mindset, right, you know, you're constantly looking for all right, how how can we just get a little bit better, you know, because we're at the end of the thing now.
You can't you can't always say, oh, we gotta get better, we gotta get better, because like now your best is needed, you know, and um, I know, guys are ready. We we are where we're at in this season because of how we've we've continue to get better throughout the year. Right and uh, I think we're peaking right at the right time. And it's all about how we prepare, you know,
and and cutting that thing loose on on satur to day. Right, I think we've done everything we've needed to do and it's all about just everybody coming together, one heart, one mind and doing it. The team is starting out the postseason at Levi Stadium? How important is that homefield advantage? Huge? Huge, big time? You know, the faithful of the best fan base in the in the world. Uh, you know, being here and Levi's is gonna I know it's gonna be
rocking in the first playoff game against Seattle. Umm, I'm excited about it. I know it's gonna be rocking in there. Is there any moment from the regular season that really resonated with you being at home in Hanking to pay? Yeah, I mean it's it's hard to pick. It's hard to pick one, honestly. I mean because every week that they bring it, the faithful bring it every single week. Um, it's hard to pinpoint one that that sticks out the
most right now. I mean, the primetime games are always fun, you know, the lights being bright, but every week you got
