and uh my guy went to the flat. So I was able to just have eyes on QB a little bit and I saw him just thrown across his body and just able to make him play. Oh okay, if you wanna run the balls, So once you should ask me to play offense. So are you gonna lobby up? Was that? I'm sorry so much what you did in that last but you ask me to play offense? was doing high school though. That's know you h you've been battling it's a this Achilles thinging for a while, and at various times in the season, it's been about that obvious that you've been hampered by certain things. But to to get out there today and make a difference in the playoff game, how good did that feel for you? Yeah? I mean, I won't gonna sit out for nothing. I mean, I wasn't gonna sit out this game for anything, but uh, yeah,
I mean it, it definitely felt great. Uh, just knowing that, you know, you battle from all this, barely practice all week and got a chance to go out there and make some plays. So uh, I mean, I'm just doing it for my teammates. You know, I knew, I knew they wanted me to play, and I know I wanted to play, so yeah, I was gonna make sure I I did everything to get in this game. You guys did talk a lot about the bad taste in your mouth the last years NSC Championship game, and it's not
so easy to get to them. So how does it feel now that you're actually ever going to back? Uh? I mean it feels good. Uh, especially when you got a game like that and you to put so much work in and they're a good offense as well, so they're a good team. So I mean it was a battle so it makes it more deserving whenever you go in and you battle tested and you gotta go against you know, you playing a game like that. So uh, I'm excited, and uh I just wanna get a job done.
So we go out there and wanna try to get a job done. It's time And then when would you watch to interception there? Uh? Definitely uh College versus airddam so yeah twenty Uh my senior year tray, second drive of the game, they go for h fourth and inches with the quarterback snake? Did you know that was coming? And what were you looking for? Uh to make that stop?
My love? Yeah? Uh, I knew it was coming. Uh. I mean we had kind of practice it all week and we were preparing for it, you know, kind of got that little brotherly shove kind of how the Eagles got a little bit. So, I mean we was prepared for it. We saw it on film and then uh, you know, once they got in that formation, we knew what time it was. And my job is just to go hit the quarterback and the shoulder, not in the head.
So uh yeah, care, I know how much you believe in in Uh you your locker mad brought perty what what'd you think. And we had a rough day. But man six or seven on that final drive, he dug deep and yeah, I mean, sh it wasn't pretty on both sides of the ball, you know what I mean. They got good guys. They had a real good team,
young guys. That's that's hungry is trying to make some plays. So, uh, they did a really good job on defense, you know, and uh, I mean for us on you know, for us, so we just we just had to go out there and and do our job and execute. We knew that that they were gonna go out there and they were gonna get some confidence to go out there and and get the job done. So the whole time, I mean we were on the sideline that final drive. I mean, we just know that. We just know we had confidence
in the whole time, you know what I mean. We you got Juwan, you got d Bo, you got you, you got Kittle, you got Christian McCaffrey, like one of them God's wanna get the ball and score. So uh, we just know that once they had when they once they did that, that we was gonna have to get a stop. Man. So I mean out of you know, everybody got stuff they messed up on but he came up big whenever we needed him to. And that's what he been doing all year, right, how to use this
game to get ready for next week sent us to change. Yeah, I mean you gotta look from it, you gotta learn from it. You gotta you know, watch the film just like you do any other game, and you know, just keep that confidence rolling and going into next week. And uh and yeah, don't you just go out there and just play a ball. You know, we ain't gotta do nothing special, do nothing different, which you gotta go be ourselves in and play ball.
