You think that the Cowboys were the best defense you faced to date, and if so, how do you that's kind of prepared you for your opponent? Yeah, um, I do. I think they you know, I had a great front. Um. I thought their secondary was really you know, talented and skilled. Um so all around, I think their scheme was really was really good too. So UM, I do think it was one of the best defenses that I've seen that

our team is seen this year. Um. And obviously you know this week is gonna be a great challenge with the front that you know, Philadelphia has, so UM, I thought it was a good game to have and you know, to work through and learn from. Um, you know for this week's matchup. I said that you backward before the Seattle game were a silent count that week and he even then was thinking like this could be good because we may play Philly n s. Which did he mentioned that to you at the time? And what is the

key to you know, being good? Yeah? Um, you know, when we played Seattle that week and everything he did say, it was a good preparation for what you know, we were um or what we might have to you know, play in in terms of the playoffs. You know, going on the road for road games and obviously for Philadelphia. UM, and it's just everything, like everything you know in these

kind of games all about communication. How can you operate smoothly, get get in and out of the huddle, get the playoff in the right way, make sure everyone's on the same page. So that's definitely a big emphasis this week, just at practice with the little things the details of communicating and being on on point. UM. And that starts with the cadence. So it's gonna be huge for us. The handset went out or something, yes, yeah, so does that happen a lot? How do you handle it? What

do you? What do you? I mean, it was really just you know, a personnel issue that we had. We're trying to get the right amount of guys on the field and um, you know, obviously the play clock was going down and so just came one of those things where you know, we got to play in a little late and we just ran ran what I heard, UM, but it wasn't the exact right play. UM. But in the moment, like that's just honest, players, I feel like, you know, to be prepared and know what coaches trying

to call, UM and those kind of things. I put that more on myself than anything. But um, you know, I think other than that, you know, Kyle does a great job of getting to play in and and everything operating pretty smoothly. But uh, there was a couple of other times, you know, early in the year. Um, but we got to play off in the right way. That was the first time we didn't get to play in and then we ran the wrong play. So, um, you know,

it happens, it's it's part of the game. But we want to do our best to eliminate those kind of things from happening. So you saw, you can see yourself. I don't like it. Even then you call your own play no, no, whatever he calls. I, you know, have full faith and trust and I run it. So yeah, to training camp, and remember you didn't get many opportunities obviously, probably about times or tent of that. So how did you deal with that? Was it frustrating? And just how

did you try to maximize the opportunities? Yeah, I mean at the time, obviously, um, you know, trading Nate were taking the majority of the reps and so I got a couple of plays at the end of each period. But for me, it was you know, how can I you know, do the reps that I have to the best of my ability to everything the little things right, Um, nothing,

I didn't make it more than what it was. I just kept a simple went through my reads and showed them that I can take care of the simple plays that they give me, you know, throughout practice and stuff. So but definitely want of the you know, have the opportunity that I had to show them, Um, you know that could play. So that was just about building trust. Back then. College game against Okahoma when you jail, when

you want against each other. Any memories that say that from the game, Yeah, Um, it was a game you know, just you know, obviously there was a lot of points scored. You know, it was almost like, um, you had to score every single time you had the ball. Almost, Um, you know, different situation and scenario than what we're about to go through, you know on a Sunday, but um, you know it was. It was a fun college game.

Was a great experience to go against you know, Jalen and they had a great team and he was making plays and stuff, and feel like we had to do the same to keep up and stay live in that game. As well, but um, you know this is a different situation, you know, different scenario going into Sunday. Was act a couple of times early through a bunch after that never were was sacked again. Was that just a matter of you realizing you might have to get the ball out sooner?

Was there an adjustment in lake calling and how would you account for that? Yeah, I would say it was a it was a mix of both things. Um. You know, I think it was a reality for myself in terms of knowing like, I can't hold onto the ball all day, Um, I have to be in rhythm. I have to be in time within the play that's called. UM, and help my old line out by giving them confidence by getting the ball out, allowing them to you know, get settled

in the game early. Um. And then also you know, Kyle Collinson plays after that a lot that's set up you know the past game later so that the offensive line, UM, I could get settled, that I could get settled, and then once we got into a rhythm, um, things were better in the second half. So yeah, two point tomorrow the Oklahoma game. Two questions. The Oklahoma game, the two point conversion that was a very tight window. Did you you know, for a moment, think that was a completion

and you guys have won the game. And then also that was you know that first time you experience some road atmosphere like that, but the night game and you guys some people, is that collective experience kind of maybe make what you're about to face Sunday a little less overwhelming. Um, yeah, I mean the answer the first part, Yeah, I thought

it was a completion. Um. Obviously you know it stuck not getting the completion in the game being over, But yeah, that was that, um in terms of the environment everything, Yeah, those kind of games definitely helped I feel like with you know, just a lot being on the line, you know, in the moment, focusing on what's in front of you, focusing on the defense rather than getting caught up in you know, the crowd and all that kind of stuff. So, UM, I played in a couple of those games, you know

in college. UM, and I think that was just a it was It's a great experience for me to go back to and remember like how I felt, um, what was going through my mind, how to affect my decisions things like that. So um, definitely feel like I've grown from it, and um, yeah, I'm glad I went through something like that as well. Comfortable going left now more games under your belt, rockets, that's something you want to change. Would you like to go more right? Where are you

chee from yourself on those situations? Yeah, Um, honestly, I hope I don't have to scramble. So that's not something you know I have in my mind. Um, but I mean it is part of the game. Um, I just feel like how the pocket has collapsed, that's just something that's just an area I feel like I've gone to. Um, but you know, it's not something that I I'm going like, Man, I gotta stop going left or I need to go more right. It's just it's part of the game. It's

a natural feel I feel like in the moment. So it's not something that I'm you know, practicing or anything like that. So makes us
