Episode description

Remember the time you danced on the bar tops like Coyote Ugly and having fun? And then it wasn’t because you fell and broken your foot. What does it take for you to recognize you have an issue with alcohol? I wanted to share part of my journaling practice and my time of reflection in the morning. How do you practice self care? What does surrender look like for you? Do you have the balls to surrender? Morning Gratitude journaling practice if you want to prime yourself for success each morning, answer these 5 questions: 1. What am I grateful for? Why: The fastest way to shift yourself into an abundance mind state. Gratitude really is a superpower. Show appreciation for: • What you have. • Where you are. • And who you love. It will make you happier than you imagined possible. 2. What is my most important task today? Why: Gets your priorities straight for the day to come. Choose the most important, needle- moving task of the day. If you only get one thing done today, it should be this. 3. What story-worthy moment happened yesterday? Why: Improves your memory and storytelling. I love using this question as a way to reflect, and create mental landmarks for each day. • An interesting interaction • A great conversation • A funny moment Keep it simple. 4. How am I feeling today? Why: To build self-awareness. It's easy to go into autopilot sometimes in life. I love using this question to check in with myself, and feel any lingering emotions that may need attention. You can even give a rating (1-10) if you find it helpful. 5. What's working right now? What could be better? Why: To stay on track with your goals and habits. Do this on a daily or weekly basis. This question allows you to refocus and make the minor adjustments needed to pursue your goals. Recap: 1. What am I grateful for? 2. What is my most important task today? 3.
