Do you remember the time you went away for a weekend to celebrate with friends and coming home feeling drained, brain fog, out of it and thinking you don’t want to drink anymore? This is that story and I still feel it with pot smoking especially after this last weekend. Are you interested in a sober curious life? Let’s talk. Here are some journal prompts for you. These CAGE questions are a great place to begin figuring out if you have a negative relationship with alcohol. 1. Have you ever thought that you should CUT down on your drinking? 2. Have people ANNOYED you by criticizing your drinking? Your kids? 3. Have you ever felt GUILTY about drinking? 4. Have you ever felt you needed a drink first thing in the morning (EYE-opener) to steady your nerves or to get rid of a hangover? If you answered yes to 2 or more of the above questions, or only to the last question, you show high sensitivity for alcoholism. Let’s talk. DM me for a discovery to recovery call.
