Thursday, we got a beautiful preview of MJ-Uncovered with B~Free on 414 Live. On April 13 at Turner Hall Ballroom, Milwaukee’s B~Free will curate the next edition of the Uncovered series. March 29th - Eagle Trace

We were excited to welcome Eagle Trace to the Radio Milwaukee stage on Thursday for a good ol’ fashioned alt-rock show. March 22nd - Dead Horses

After cultivating a die-hard following in their local touring circuit, Dead Horses officially burst onto the Wisconsin music scene with their 2016 release “Cartoon Moon.” Their new album “My Mother the Moon” will be out on April 6. March 8th - Tacoma Washington Weekday Club

Tacoma Washington Weekday Club is a band from Waukesha, WI (not Washington), founded by Noah Turks and Logan Prevatt. They began in Prevatt’s basement in the beginning of 2016, then moved on to touring, then to writing. Merging Alternative Rock, Jazz, Experimental, and Emo, they create their own dark brand of music. With Vocalist/Bassist Noah Turks’ conversational, unorthodox style and Logan Prevatt’s cryptic realism, they’re breeding a new form of evolved emo for 2018.

March 1st - Koch-Marshall Trio

The collaboration of renowned guitarist Greg Koch, his son Dylan Koch on drums and Hammond B3 organ specialist, Toby Marshall. A unique take on the organ trio concept combining undeniable grooves with soulful savagery. Drawing on a wealth of original material that crosses blues, gospel, jazz, funk with a healthy dose of chicken fried rock, the jams are constantly evolving making each performance unique and interesting.

This past Thursday on 414 Live, we were excited to welcome back Well-Known Strangers. We last had the band on before the 2016 release of their debut album, Aligned. We welcomed them back as they prepare for the release of more new music! On Saturday, February 24, they’ll be releasing new single “Flicker” at a release party at Shank Hall.

February 15th - Caley Conway

Fresh off the release of her self-engineered Christmas album, Heart Be Light, Caley Conway is now putting the finishing touches on her next studio EP. A Milwaukee native, Conway only recently moved away from the city proper to the town of Oostburg. Her and her partner John now live in a tiny cabin in the woods that Conway describes as “quite conducive to music making.”

February 8th - Abby Jeanne

In 2017, Abby Jeanne celebrated the release of her first solo album, “Rebel Love.” In 2018, she’s preparing to release a new 7″ and is kicking the year off with a month-long residency at Company Brewing. “Fire in February” will begin Monday, February 5 and we were excited to welcome Abby Jeanne to 414 Live this past Thursday as a kick-off to her four week engagement. 414 Live is presented by: Milwaukee Bucks with support from: Hi Hat Lounge & Garage and Milwaukee Brewing Company....

Over the past decade in Milwaukee’s music scene, Vitrolum Republic has blended styles from American roots and folk music with elements of blues, rock, singer-songwriter and classical genres.
