Empathy

In Episode 7 of 33 North 96 West, Terri and Jared dive deep into the phenomenon of empathy. Empathy is about taking on the perspective of another person- being as them rather than as yourself. In our culture we often confuse sympathy and compassion with empathy. While this conversation doesn't arrive at any definitive conclusions, it certainly opens us up to a meaningful contemplation on the importance of true Empathy as a function of our relationships with our fellows.
