Soul Mates or Good Dates

Today we are discussing SoulMates! GOOGLE defines SoulMate as a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner. Now, this is not how we typically hear the term soulmate defined. It’s usually a warm and mushy definition that we make up that describes how the stars will align in a person's eyes, or how birds sing at a person's name etc. Is the man you married your soulmate or did you just have a string of really good dates?
