   As we readied our broadcast.

Sound FX hung in the background with care,

   Lovingly accenting our voice actors’ flair.

For all those lamenting a Christmas NOT gritty,

   One without puns or subversions so witty.

Good news!  We’ve got just the present for you,

   (We’re really hoping that Dickens’ estate doesn’t sue).

So come one & come all – no time to inquire,

   It’s time for a tale full of noire, wise-cracks, and gunfire.

Roberta Cratchit is thrust all excitingly in peril,
