Episode description

1883 is one of the best representations of the Oregon Trail. It shows the fragility of human life. Life in the 1883 was simple. All you had to do was figure how to survive. You had to win each and every day or you would be dead. Details were critical and failure to pay attention to them would end in death.

141 years later our society has altered drastically. Most of us do not live each day to just survive. We take for granted all of the conveniences we have. Shelter, warmth, travel, food, etc. We do not have to worry survival. It has been conveniently placed in front of us.

Imagine tomorrow the electricity goes out and we are forced to just survive.
