I’m overprotective of black women. It could be an innate response, but it’s likely due to me knowing how this country has historically treated women of color. We are all aware of the heinous acts our systems have committed against black men, but stories are seldom told of the atrocities that black women have endured. Even today they are still persecuted in our media. Quite frankly it makes me sick. Candace Owens and Cardi B have a Twitter beef and I wish they were friends.
