Forecasters a warning of life threatening surf as Tropical Storm Chantal makes landfall along the Carolina Coast. Tropical storm warnings are an effect from near Charleston, South Carolina, to Wilmington, North Carolina, where gusty winds and heavy rain are expected throughout the morning. Forecasters say heavy rainfall along the coast

could cause flash flooding. The National Hurricane Center is also warning of life threatening surf and rip currents from northeastern Florida to the mid Atlantic States over the next day or so because of Chantal. Rescue teams are searching for dozens of campers who went missing after deadly floodwater swept through central Texas. Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

Over fifty people died in Friday's flooding at the Guadalupe River, northwest of San Antonio. Authority say twenty seven children are still missing from an all girls Christian camp that was located by the river, which rose by over twenty feet in less than two hours early Friday. Please Say emergency services were called just before one am to the forty first Precinct, a Long Longwood Avenue in the Bronx. The eighteen year old female had a medical issue while in custody. There. The team was taken to a local hospital, where she was soon pronounced dead. The cause and circumstances surrounding the girl's death remain unknown. The NYPD FOCE Investigation Division is investigating the incident.

Former Chicago White Sox pitcher and World Series champion Bobby Jenks has died at the age of forty four, the team announced Saturday. The Janks passed on July fourth in CenTra, Portugal. Jenks died following a battle with stage four stomach cancer. The two time MLB All Star tied a league record in two thousand and seven, recording forty one consecutive outs

Archaeologists have discovered some unusually large two thousand year old shoes in northern England. Rob Martyr has details.

Discovery at a site used by the Roman Empire included eight large shoes, including one that measured almost thirteen inches long that's equivalent to a size fifteen in the United States. The shoes were found in a defense ditch that the Romans used as a rubbish dump in Northumberland.
