This is your twenty four to seven use update the latest use this hour. In just four minutes, at least seventy people are dead and dozens still missing after devastating flooding in central Texas. Texas Governor Greg Gabbott, we continue twenty four to seven operations to search for anybody who was affected by that deadly storm. Eleven girls from a summer camp on the banks of the Guadalupe River remain missing. More heavy rain remains possible in Texas today. Deaths have

been reported in six counties in Texas. President Trump announced he signed a major Disaster declaration for Kirk County. In a post on truth Social Trump said the declaration will allow first responders to have access to resources they need as recovery efforts continue. Trump called it an unimaginable tragedy. The NFL's two Texas based teams, the Cowboys and Texans, are joining the NFL Foundation to help support the families of victims and survivors of the floods in central Texas.

We get more from Lisa Carton said Sunday. They will contribute one point five million dollars to provide immediate assistance and long term resources to those most impacted by the catastrophic flooding. Israel has sent a team of negotiators to cut Her for talks with Hamas about a Gaza ceasefire. The office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says a team was sent Saturday to negotiate a truce proposal with Hamas, despite changes in the proposal requested by Hamas being unacceptable

to Israel. The announcement came after Hamas said it had a positive response to a US back proposal that would involve the sixty day truce in Gaza. President Trump says he signed letters to twelve countries going out Monday with take it or leave it tariff offers. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessont says tariffs that were paused for negotiating will take

effect August first for those countries. Besson said Trump's letters say that if you don't move things along, then on August first, quote, you will boomerang back to a higher tariff level. He expects to see several big announcements over the next couple of days about trade deals. I'm Rob Bartier, a Los Angeles police officer, is recovering after he was shot while attempting to question the suspect on Saturday. Chief Jim McDonnell.

years ago. Data from the Center for Outbreak Response Innovation at Baltimore's John Hopkins University shows there have been one two hundred and seventy seven confirmed cases so far this year. That exceeds the previous peak of two hundred and seventy four for all of twenty nineteen. This year's measles outbreak has led to one hundred and fifty five hospitalizations three confirmed deaths.
