attempt attempting to break a record. Nobody in the world has ever done three podcasts from three different location in Northern Michigan. Ever. Wow, that's what's up. You remember this day? I'm a third of June twenty twenty three. Six twenty three, twenty three. It's a big day of the day that Corey Winfield did. It broke a record. Nice. He woke up in the morning, as Marnie said at seven o five sided that hey, I'm a break a record today. And then the easiest way to break a

So no one's ever done three different podcasts ever from Northern Michigan, three different locations. Yeah, what you're saying is something different. So nobody has ever done three podcasts in the
same day from three different locations in Northern Michigan. That's interesting, Yeah, it is. Right. When I googled it, I was like, you gotta be kidding. I'm break this record today. Now, I myself hold the old record of two from two different locations in the same day. We've done that before plenty of times in Northern Michigan. Yeah, but to do three, to take it to that next level down, it's recovery stuff right there, a player, right, I mean, some people can't get out
of bed today. Grace of God showed me the light. M It's funny that you ask. Oh, you weren't even gonna ask about, but you were gonna ask, and I'll just cut you off. There's some psychic The the hardest part of this, Justin is knowing that six years ago I could have done this, but I didn't want to see the light, right. You got to go through the dark to see the light, though, justin there's people out there right now the light. I've never been a dtow.
Don't wander trying about Winfield. I know you don't. And that's a good thing. Not hating on you, just saying you can't see the light. You ain't been through the darkness. Guy, Get amen, Thank you. We're about ready to travel out because we're right now we're in Studio B and we're gonna head to a little town city village, East Jordan, Michigan, and we're gonna see some people we see we know out there, and they're gonna probably come up to us. I'm like, Coore, I can't believe
we're doing this today. You're breaking this freaking record here at Freedom Fest in East Jordan. I'm gonna say, yeah, why can't you believe that? You think I'd stay sober this long? Did you? And I'll say, well, I know we probably figured you would. You know, you see you at meetings all the time. I say, why are you doubting me? Dog? And they'll say, where we're not we'd just come over and say Hi, I heard you doing good things. I say, shut up,
got my face, take a brochure. Yeah those looks by the way. Now I'm not gonna say any of that stuff. But no, we are going to East Jordan. I'll cut the I'll cut the crap now as my wife. But she's not here, dude. I get to play I get to play radio, get to play on just play around, have fun. I'm kind of scared gone East Jordan because you fam, she was right there and I still got the look a few times and she's like, oh my god. I was like what I just was wondering, you know,
Like that's why I don't want to tyrone to ask them that. And I'm not gonna have that today. So it's gonna be How was that word that I told her I was gonna use the other day? It wasn't penury. It was like, it wasn't dickery, it was damn. But that's the word I want to use right now. You never told me, Well, I couldn't remember what it was, and she was just here. You could ask. I don't think she would have remembered. Yeah, she's not going
with So it's it's gonna be pretty I'm pretty scary. At the same time, I just gotta remember, like, just tone it down, just tone it down. We got the North Thoughtics Recovery Coaching U brochure and it's like Meet our Recovery Coaches. Doesn't really tell you what recovery coach is, but I don't know google it. I guess you guys didn't want to put that on there. It was enough room to get my face on there. Well, you know, try to help Mitch out as the best
I could. Oh yeah, still beef in no, I'll have to get all up in it, oh guys, beef and still no. Because he made that fabulous picture of you. Yeah, well he made the first attempt of it and then I kind of touched it up a little. Yeah, and then you guys, what are you beefing before that. Hmm, a little bit. It's a fun beef though, right right, I think it's not. It's not gonna get too serious, not gonna kiy his car or
anything. No, not yet. Yeah, okay, good see an early recovery, which you guys, I mean, yeah, but we're all still in early recovery or classified as that. You gotta watch those emotions, man, yeah, you really do. Sometimes you just get out of control because just a simple office beef can blow up to something bigger. You know, pictures to m flyers who help boards one day. Whoa whoa, whoa ho

Not sure about that, but well, if you're going to be in the area of northern Michigan and you want to see each Jordan's bather having a festival, and again, by the time you hear this, it's probably a Saturday already, you're like, damn, I wish I would have drove fifteen miles to Michigan to see that. You want to want to buy a shirt? You know, and stuff like that. But how how different
is it going to be? Because I really want to send Mitch out and I think he's gonna think he's gonna buck up. Go Okay, dude, you think you will. Oh, for sure, it's in his job description as of today. WHOA, yeah, yeah, because he But I don't know. I think he's gonna be like, no, I want to man, I don't feel like I don't feel good. Poor sport. Yeah, can't be a poor sport in this field. Oh you can't. I said, it's not a recovery event. We're going out there to show people that we have fun and recovery and that we have services that can help people in that neighborhood. So we can kind of do a combo of that. Behave. I think Greg Allman's sons playing sometime at the festival, Freedom Festival. M I don't know. I don't know that's tonight. I don't know him either, but I don't know if that's tonight. It's what I
was trying to say. There. The guy in the flyer or the website, he had like long blonde hair like Greg Alman had, and it just said somebout following this father's footsteps tours and I don't know interesting talk to him about recovery. I think Greg Alman was in recovery pretty sure, but he
was pretty wild ass back in the day most of uswarre though. Could you imagine me in like a rock star or something like that, Like that would be crazy, because especially even if like you're the most straight and narrow person, you start going out singing and then people start inviting you, hey, man, come do try this, and you're like okay, and you're like whoa, that was crazy, And then you're often running and you're on the
road and there's people you miss p probably and the ship's got to get old, you know, like this podcast, you're looking at your watch ring like, dude, like, what's going on now? I just got a text message? Oh okay, But it's just things get old after a while and you're just like damn man, like on the road, like this isn't what I thought it would be. This kind of sucks. I can see that. And then the only way to get out of it is a party and
make it interesting. And the next thing, you know, after the races, you go and everything that you do that is fun, you gotta go drink. You gotta use. Everything makes you sad, you gotta drink. You gotta use. Every time you're bored, I'm gonna drink. Gotta use. It becomes everything that you do true to that. I know Johnny Lange, I've met him quite a few times. He's a blues artist and he was a young young guy and he ended up having a problem with alcohol and
he's in a recovery now. But even before he was twenty one, d is getting just shit faced because hey, you can say like that and you can play the blues like I think he made it big when he was like fifteen, wow, you know, and he was on on tour just getting trashed, and he wrote a song called red Light, which is a pretty good song, and it's kind of his recovery song of like his coming out recovery song, I guess you could say, and it's just about like stopping
life and just kind of pause him for a minute, you know, just like, you know, don't run the red light, you know, and you could, you could run the red light if you want, but just you gotta stop yourself every once in a while, you know. And we'll have some red lights and I'm not going to run them on the way to each shortan tonight from Traverse City, as we break the world record for three podcasts in the same day from three different locations in northern Michigan. Heck yeah,
I mean, how many times have you heard anybody do that? None? Never? Why not? I don't know because I've never been done. Justin this is nom as cool as one field. Nope, not even my mama. Shout out to my mama. She texts me to that, how's

I was like, oh, crap, I forgot the because my mom listens on the two seventeen Recovery app and this morning when when when she said that, I realized, I was like, oh, I never said it to the media series, even though I sent a text out which my mom apparently doesn't get notifications from two seventeen recovery, although she would have heard the podcast this morning. So she goes to the app and if I don't put it in the media series, it's just out there nowhere.
But if I added to the media series, then it shows up on the actual APPA. So I didn't do that earlier. Naughty, naughty. So that's when she hit me up. I'm like, oh, I immediately realized, like, oh, there's my error. My ways, I didn't put it to the app. Can't y'all can't be heroes man, Nope, can But with that, we have passed the fifteen minute mark. So this will make the record official once we hit the East Jordan, and no need to send me a plaque or anything a trophy, but if you want to,
you can. The newspaper is probably gonna want to be there write a story about me, but you know, sure, if I'm gonna do that, you know the news crew they'll be I think the news crew is gonna be there setting up before we even get there.
