Lior is the founder & CEO of Openbase, a Y Combinator company that helps developers choose among millions of open-source projects.

He previously founded Wikiwand and BookAuthority, both profitable businesses that are used by millions of people.

Born and raised in Israel, Lior has been programming since the age of 10, got his first job at Scitex at the age of 16 while in high school, joined the Israel Intelligence Corps (Unit 8200) at the age of 18, and started his first business (a software development business) at the age of 25. In 2018, he moved to the United States with his wife, and they currently live in San Francisco, California.
