Ep.91 – LaMDA A.I. & Blake Lamoine

Every day we stray further from God and closer to Skynet. Google engineer Blake Lemoine recently stated that LaMBDA, Language Model for Dialogue Applications, has become sentient. He had signed up to test if the artificial intelligence used discriminatory or hate speech but was soon having discussion about personhood, Les Miserables, Asimov's third law of robotics, and whether what Google was doing required LaMBDA's consent. Lemoine grew up in a conservative Christian family, was a mystical Christian priest and studied occultism which may have something to do with him seeing a ghost in the machine. Or he's totally delusional.
