Set Smarter Goals. Why is investing in yourself important? Just like when we are in grade school it is necessary for us to learn the basics of the language, reading and mathematics, and science to advance in school and in our life. However, many of us find that after high school and college many of us lose the vigor for continued self-improvement. Most people would rather exercise than take the time to look inward to see what other aspects of their life they can improve on.
