Episode 198 How 2 Take Things Personal Sensers! It’s election year and its been entertaining to witness to say the least on who the American people must select for a president. While I don’t know the first thing on what it is to be a “good” president, I will say that our country representation must be comical to the rest of the world based on the behavior of the first debate between Trump and Biden. However, Harris did bring a sense of maturity to the debates in the second one. I’ll touch on my thoughts of these two current candidates. How does one deal with conflict? How would I do it? Hell, how have I done it? All of these questions get answered in this topic. Just some of the things I’ve learned from my own experiences as well as watching others display healthier communication skills. Lastly, “The Four Agreements” is one of my favorite reads and applying them to life was a challenge at first none more than the idea of not taking things personal. I truly believe being so caught up in your ego will have you thinking the world revolves around you when you are so small in comparison to a person’s opinion of you. This is not to say we don’t matter, but only that nothing a person does even if its to us is ever about us. May God and His Universe remove any negative energy you may have stored from reading this.
