The Black Massage Therapist Conference, with guests Davonna and Ashley

Davonna is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Massage Therapist, Massage Therapy educator, and entrepreneur that we have had the pleasure of connecting with through our mutual friend, Ashley, the founder of MT Banquets, who is also a Massage Therapist and Massage Therapy educator. These two women are here to introduce the first Black Massage Therapist Conference happening October 14, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. As black therapists, these two incredible women realized that as only less than ten percent of the Massage Therapists in America are black, there was a need and a desire for there to be an opportunity to celebrate black therapists, help them to achieve business success, and give them a place to meet and network with other black therapists around the US and possibly the world!
