More on the Mind Body Connection and Healing, with guest Viktoria

Viktoria is a clinic owner as well as a practicing Massage Therapist and a hypnotherapist primarily working with chronic pain patients. She also works in an addiction treatment center  providing pain education for her clients. Viktoria wanted to have a conversation about the use of language when it comes to chronic pain as well as the mindset of our patients and how it affects their healing. In her work dealing with patients who are heavily addicted to pain medications, she uses her knowledge to help them recognize how they are thinking about their pain and what their belief system is surrounding their pain. It has been eye opening for her to see the results in patients who have had pain for so long finally see some relief when the language changes, the mindset shifts, and the manual therapy can do what it needs to do.
