Alicia is also the President of MTWPAM - the Massage Therapists and Wholistic Practitioners Association of the Maritimes. As of January 1, 2020 Massage Therapists that belong to one of the associations in Nova Scotia has the protection of the title "Massage Therapist" meaning only those in good standing with the associations can use this protected title. This is not to be confused with regulation and self-governance. Listen in as we rap about this positive step forward for Massage Therapists in Nova Scotia and how title protection compares to regulation.
