Dysphagia? Dysphasia? With guest Lou

Lou is a retired Massage Therapist with a story to tell. After getting aggressive treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer, Lou ended up with damage to his glossopharyngeal and hypoglossal  nerves resulting in both dysphagia and dysphasia. Since this realization, Lou has been on a mission to find ways to improve his quality of life, educate others, help and support those going through similar struggles, and find therapies that can benefit patients who have suffered this type of nerve damage. We were honoured that Lou wanted to come sit on our couch and share his story.
