It's been a pretty Star Wars-y week! First, our heroes talk "The Mandalorian", then they take a diversion away from Star Wars to talk "Watchmen", then it's right back to Star Wars to dive right into "Rise of Skywalker"!

Back after a week off, The Geeks dive headfirst into so many things: "Watchmen", "South Park", "The Mandalorian", and "Rick and Morty". Plus, our heroes lament that they haven't been able to check out the films they've been hearing good things about, Sprite doesn't understand slang, Matt's hands stink like glue.

So much to talk about this week! The last trailer for "Rise of Skywalker" and the final trailer for "The Mandalorian". Matt got caught up on "Disenchantment". Both geeks share how they spent Halloween. Both geeks are digging the new "Watchmen" series and finished this season of "Creepshow". Matt went to Montreal Toycon. Justin made a big Godzilla-related purchase. Oh, and more!
Matt talks about his big adventure. Both the guys watched the newest episode of "Creepshow". Nicholas Cage sure is off the rails. Justin might become an online shopper. Bet you wish this was a Halloween special.
Despite having busy schedules lately, and despite October typically being slow news month, Matt and Justin both managed to get some fun things in AND there was some news! PS5 is coming next year, Kevin Feige is CCO of all of Marvel, "The Batman" has a Catwoman and a Riddler. Horror movies! Horror shows! Matt's dog barking in the background! Everything you know and love.
Another week where nothing's really gone on. Justin's just about up to date on his 31 Days of Horror while Matt is not. Matt didn't do a whole lot but did watch a couple interesting things. Justin finally saw all three seasons of "Big Mouth"! "South Park" aired their 300th episode.
Our heroes are apart again, but soldier on none-the-less! First off, the boys talk about the most recent episode of South Park. Also, "Big Mouth" is back! Matt watched three movies he's famously never seen and revisited four others as part of his Scare-A-Thon. Justin's also in the Halloween mood, plus read some comics. Then, to cap it off, there's a good discussion about "Joker".
Matt is in the land of the stars! So, of course, Justin takes him around for hijinks! Universal Studios! Disneyland! Neal Freakin' Adams! And, of course, more!
It's another one of those weeks where everything's kinda slow. But that doesn't stop The Geeks! Matt's been in a "Star Trek" frame of mind. Justin binged all three "John Wick" films. A brief discussion of the terrible TMNT live stage show "Coming Out of Their Shells". Other silly things.
Justin saw "Midsommar" and talks a bit about that. Matt FINALLY watched all of "Young Justice" and also has been doing a "Star Trek" deep dive. There's some discussion of cons, Halloween haunts and (of course) toys. Then it's on to talking about "It: Chapter 2"
A new (final?) trailer for "Joker" came out and, boy, did it hook our heroes' interest! Justin did the "Infinity War"/ "Endgame" double feature and also watched "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" again! Matt...didn't do a whole lot. But he went to a concert, so that was really his fun for the week. Toy talk (as usual) and a little bit of talk about "Young Justice" and "GLOW".
Who knew the second-to-last-week in August could be so jam packed with news? First we talk about the end of the deal between Sony and Disney to share Spider-Man. After that it's on to all the announcements from D23 (which we both forgot was happening!). Plus, both geeks watched some good stuff. And more!
A lot of time is spent discussing a rabbit hole Justin fell down online: fans who want Peter Parker be changed to being gay or bisexual? Who better to talk about that than two straight, cis-gendered guys, right? We handle it as best we can. Matt is almost caught up on "Young Justice" and watched "Batman: Hush". Justin binged through the new season of "Glow".
This episode rolls along great until Matt's computer freezes up right at the very end. But before that there's "Young Justice" to talk about! And Pokemon! And metal music! And a movie Justin saw! It was a good week.
DC Universe's "Swamp Thing" is over. Justin watched an interesting horror short. Matt watched all of season 2 of "Star Trek: Discovery" and all of season one of "The Boys". Other random junk.
Matt had a bad week except for one really awesome thing and doesn't have much to contribute so Justin takes almost full control and talks about the comics he bought, the insanity of Archie, a tiny bit about Amazon's new series "The Boys" and a few other things. Matt saw Rachel Bloom of YouTube and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" fame LIVE! Better things are coming next week, we promise.
San Diego Comic Con 2019 is over (well, at the time of the recording, it was ALMOST over) and we talk about the biggest news: Doom Patrol, toys, MCU news and more!
Considering how little news there was and how little we did, we sure do talk about a lot of stuff! Mondo should give us money, DC Universe isn't going away, SDCC is coming right up, Justin bought some comics, Matt finally finished "Stranger Things 3" and also watched a lot of "Tiny Toon Adventures".
It was a big week! "Spider-Man: Far From Home" came out and we saw that. Also, "Stranger Things" season 3 came out and we saw that, too! Plus, Justin watched a weird horror movie starring Tiny Tim. The live action "Mulan" got its first trailer. Con exclusive toys suck.
Justin watched the entire "Leprechaun" franchise over the past week. Is it the weirdest and worst horror movie franchise ever? Yes. Did he enjoy it? Also yes. He explains it all to Matt. The other movie Justin saw was the new "Child's Play" film and he talks about that, too. "Spider-Man: Far From Home" is coming out on a Tuesday (today) and that's pretty weird.
Matt was on vacation and so had time to get to four movies: a rewatch of "Us", then theater viewings of "Rocketman", "Men in Black: International" and "Toy Story 4". What did he think? Both the geeks watched the latest episode of "Swamp Thing". Other various typical nonsense.
Boring stuff. Seriously. Don't listen. Nothing happens in June. Neither of us read comics. Both geeks DID watch Swamp Thing. No movies were seen. Jessica Jones season three doesn't interest us. It's the most nothing episode possible.
