La'Tasha D. Mayes, MSPPM, is a nationally recognized leader in the field of reproductive justice, human rights and leadership development for Black women and girls. She is also the founder and executive director of New Voices for Reproductive Justice, an organization in Pennsylvania and Ohio dedicated to the health and well-being of Black women, femmes and girls. New Voices advocates at the local, state and national level for reproductive justice.
1HOOD Power is a 501c4 organization with the mission of building political power, holding politicians accountable, and developing effective political leadership through electoral organizing, issue advocacy, and civic education efforts. 1HOOD Power is the advocacy arm of 1 HOOD Media, A collective of socially conscious artists and activists who utilize art to raise awareness.
