The Gospel of Sam 2 Chapter 21 - The Third Petal

Cain confronts Wei Jin, Gabriel, and Michael, criticizing their attempts to help Sam control the monster inside him. Cain takes charge, commanding Michael to heal Sam's body, which regenerates rapidly with the combined power of Michael, Malice, and Cain. Sam awakens with immense power, unintentionally triggering an avalanche that threatens the temple and village below. He quickly reacts by building walls to hold back the destruction, but realizing the village and temple cannot be saved, Sam decides to evacuate everyone. With lightning speed, he teleports villagers and monks to safety, though the sheer force of his will makes those he touches physically ill. As the avalanche destroys the temple, Sam rescues Michael and a trapped family in the final moments, using his growing godly abilities. Despite his success, Sam reflects that his powers in the real world are not yet as strong as they were in the Maze, leaving the extent of his godhood uncertain.
