1 in 4 people in the UK are affected by loneliness.

According to some reports, the impact on loneliness on people is like smoking 15 cigarettes a day and increases overall risk of death by 26%.

The total number of people in the UK who say they “often” or “always” feel lonely increased from 2.6 million people in 2020 to 3.3 million people in 2022.

In the conversation, we explore our own friendship origins and how we have come to support each other. And then we go deep on the loneliness topic.
