The Arab Spring Ten Years Later with Prof. Shalaby

In this episode of the 1050 Bascom, we were grateful to speak with Marwa Shalaby, Professor of Gender and Women’s Studies and Political Science, to reflect on the Arab Spring 10 years later. Prof. Shalaby walked us through the history and evolution of the protests over the last decade. She also offered her insights into research suggesting that the sparks of revolutionary change remain and that the hard work of democratic reform continues in the region.
