In this episode of 1050 Bascom, we were excited to welcome Rochelle Snyder to the podcast. Rochelle is a doctoral candidate in Political Science teaching a fascinating class this semester on representation in American politics. We asked Rochelle about her class and her own academic background and research interests. Our main topic of discussion centered around representation in contemporary politics - what representation means and the state of representative democracy in the US today. We thoroughly enjoyed our discussion, and we learned so much.
