Public Engagement in Regulatory Policy-Making with Prof. Yackee

In this episode of 1050 Bascom, we were grateful to interview Susan Webb Yackee, Director of the La Follette School of Public Affairs and Professor of Political Science. Prof. Yackee is currently conducting research for the IBM Center for the Business of Government to be shared with the Biden Administration. The project seeks to offer recommendations aimed at facilitating increased public engagement in regulatory policy-making processes. We asked Prof. Yackee about this important research. We also talked through the La Follette School’s popular undergraduate Public Policy certificate, and its expanding course offerings. We enjoyed our conversation with Prof. Yackee and learned so much.
