In this episode, I chat with Liyana Hanif, Creative Lead at Progresif and Founder of Just Bruneians. Liyana was featured on The Futur, an online education platform for creative entrepreneurs with over 200 thousand followers on Instagram back in March 2020.
Liyana shares a few misconceptions about creativity, her thoughts on the status quo of creativity in Brunei, and advice for aspiring creatives - including having the confidence to fail. We also exchange views on brand building, and the importance of learning business skills and working hard.
This is personally a special episode because Liyana was the first person I had a Conversation with back in June 2019. That was the Conversation that got the ball rolling for me and this podcast. [BUT I made a rookie mistake and forgot to record it!]
