Episode description

Over the last nine months I have been training for a big endurance event called 29029, in which the participants climb the equivalent height of Mount Everest (29,029 feet) in 36 hours.

Before I started training for this event, I couldn’t climb more than a few hundred feet, but over time, I have increased both my physical and mental endurance and learned some powerful lessons about overcoming my brain as I have worked toward this goal. I have never been an athlete, but over time my body has changed and adapted to meet this challenge—and if that’s possible for me, I know it’s possible for you!

In today’s podcast, I’m sharing some of the most valuable lessons I have learned as I have trained and prepared for this endurance event in the hopes that they will help you as you face the challenges in your own life. You are capable of so much more than you think and I hope this episode will show you that and inspire you as you work toward your own goals.
