Episode description

The Claremont killings gripped Western Australia and the country in the 90’s. In the space of fifteen months, three women (Sarah Spiers, Jane Rimmer and Ciara Glennon) all disappeared from the Claremont area in Perth after being out with friends. The bodies of only two of the women were found.

Paul Ferguson is the former homicide detective who led the taskforce looking at the disappearance of the victims. He talks to Clare Dearle about that traumatic time.

Karl O’Callaghan is the former West Australian Police Commissioner who made the announcement that they had caught the man who was ultimately convicted of two of the murders, Bradley Robert Edwards. He spoke with Lee Steele.
