In the Gospel today, we are confronted with the reality that there are times when we are like the first servant. Having been forgiven, and continually being forgiven of the debt that we owe God, we turn around and refuse to forgive another person. We hold onto our anger and allow this unforgiveness to harden our hearts. While it is difficult we are being called to forgive as God forgives, as a way to love as God loves.
