On 30th October 1983, 16 year old Colette Aram was walking from her house in Nottinghamshire, the one and a half miles to her boyfriend's house. She didn't make it as she was abducted, raped and strangled by 25 year old Paul Hutchinson. Michael Silka was a 25 year old US Army veteran from Illinois who dreamed of living in the wilderness of Alaska. In May 1984, he finally arrived in Alaska at the tiny village of Manley Hot Springs. His visit there ended in a spree killing and a shoot out with Alaska's State Troopers, ending his life and the life of a trooper.
