At the very least, this episode can help garner some form of clarity and understanding. The bigger hope would be for those who listen to find a sense of peace in the midst of what happened this election. #2024uselection #clarity #awareness #faith #humanity #philosophy
This episode is based on fear. The fear of water and where it might stem from. As well as possible nuances to what that fear could mean, and how we might be able to overcome it.
All I do is find sounds I like or that stand out on Garageband. None of what you hear in my "music compositions" is of my creation. Been playing with this program since '06 B.C. (Before Covid). It's just fun to try and tell a story using only music. I hope you enjoy the journey.
Trigger warning: the first section of this piece hints at ideas and scenes of self harm and suicide. I've always wanted to have a piece be an authentic true story. Although many of my poems and episodes are based on truths, nothing has been a completely true story until now.
Sometimes, no matter how hard we've worked or how much we plan we just get stuck in life. This piece is my reflection of a recent point like that. But no matter how stuck we may feel, no point in life is permanent. That's one of the frustrating beauties of life. Or, that's one of the beautiful frustrations of life. However you choose to see it.
As we seek to gain more control over the outside world, we succeed only in losing more control of our self. Often times when we think we need control, what we need to give most, especially to ourselves, is compassion.
Yet another episode recorded in my car. Unlike the last two however, this one was written down.. As promised, thoughts and feelings in Love.
We all have the power to mold our lives as we desire. Where does the want or willingness to give up the power to create our lives to authority come from? Is authority another illusion we hold onto out of fear? What would you do if you were the only true authority of your life, wellbeing, and peace? What makes you think you aren't?..
Tonight, I expand on the connection between two of the highest forms of optimism. It's a short episode but, maybe I can offer insight into the experiences of possibility and hope. Thank you for listening.
We don't stand and fight for freedom, justice, and equality to fulfill our sense of pride. We stand to fight for our humanity. Knowing that our vulnerability in being human is our greatest strength. It's not a matter of "How can we fight?" It's, "How can we not?"
I said the next episode would be another music composition. "Transformation". This is only the beginning. No doubt you've gone through so much unexpected growth and awakening, especially after 2020. As challenging as it's been, it's all for the better. To chip away at who you aren't in order to become more of who you are. This is New Age Renaissance. Are we ready?
It's finally here. Episode 40. I hope (with all that I write and share actually) this piece, speaks to you and sparks within you...hope, light, and empowerment. Thank you, for continuing to be a part of New Age Renaissance.
This episode is just, some random thoughts I had while staring at a blank page. It always seems like nonsense when I sit down to write with no clue or idea of what I want, yet somehow it works out. The same can be said of life: sometimes it just feels like randomness and that's what makes life beautiful. Seemingly random chaos strung together to create the miracle of life.
Are we, by nature, passionate? Are we born passionate? Does passion lay dormant within us or is it created by us? Either way, passion isn't something we can ignore or should.
This episode was brought on by me not knowing what needed to be written. I had an idea for what I wanted but couldn't figure out how to say it, so this is what came of it. This episode is the result of me being at a standstill. I hope it helps you regain focus the next time you find you've arrived at one.
What does it take it make an impact? What could it take? Maybe all it takes is a reminder. A reminder that you, or me or people in general, are more. What if we accidentally became that reminder for someone and they in return, later, became ours?
This, is just a small sample of music I strung together with the help of Garageband on Mac. The music will be making another appearance on the podcast in episode 40 but I wanted to give you the full music audio experience so you don't have to strain to hear it all later. Why explore? Why not?
Where does hope come from? How is it we're naturally able to reach out for it when we feel we have nothing else? Is hope a product of our misfortune or...are we the products of hope's abilities? Does beginning to know hope mean beginning to know ourselves or, is that just a hope we hope to achieve in an attempt to comfort our sense of loss? Maybe, we need that sense of loss so we may better know what it means to hope for what we believe we deserve. Without us there can be no hope; without hope t...
Speak out in love against violence. No longer should we sit idle in silence, only to be chained down by ignorance and fear. We must stand together as we've been meant to from the beginning: as equals. Women, this episode is for you. One person's attempt at letting you know you're seen and heard and supported in your fight for equality. This was never just your war, women's equality is human equality. This is only the beginning, a call to action to all who've been made to feel less than human: wo...
If we strive to be a definitive idea of virtue, does that make us virtuous? Or is it, only when we cease seeking the absolution of virtue that it's bestowed unto us? Is virtue permanent or does it only pretend to be so; allowing for the illusion to play out as it flows seamlessly from moment to moment, knowing that if it tried to find itself in one or the other it would only succeed in losing itself entirely?
We're all, at some point or another, our own worst enemy; persecuting ourselves in hopes that it'll prevent others from doing it to us. Unable, or unwilling, to see ourselves as more than what little society deems us to be worth. This story is a call to action, to stand up and rise to be what those living in fear don't expect you to be: true.
In this episode, we begin the exploration of the scope of Yin-Yang. In life, in living and in being. It's all about balance. Our human experience is a part of achieving that balance, whether we want it to be or not.
Chapter seven, Truth. Often, a story, a journey, leads up to something momentous: The moment of truth. Life, luckily, provides us with many such moments. It's in them, blanketed in The Uncertain, that we grow not only as we're meant to but most of all as we need to. So, is this the end of the journey or the beginning of one? That, I leave up to you.
Chapter six, Understanding. At one point or another, we have to make a choice. We can choose to continue to hide away from the world or choose to venture out and become apart of it. When we hide, we're governed by pride and think we know; but once we allow ourselves to push past our pride and strive to be who we're meant to be, that's when we develop understanding.
Chapter five, Love. Is love a natural force or a fantasy founded on false hope? Is love, a weakness or is it the embodiment of strength everlasting? Who might we be without love? Can uncertainty help lead us back to self love?
Chapter four, I'd have to admit, was the turning point for the story. Until this chapter, I wasn't sure where the story was headed. Chapter Four Pain, is about wanting things to change, to have yourself be a part of that change, but being unable to see why or when they'd. Until it's revealed that, without pain no true change would be possible.
Chapter three, is about the importance of rediscovery. Memories: We can never know for certain what the future holds, but we can gain insight to the potential of our future by remembering where we've been before. By remembering, why, we were before. What will your memories allow you to reveal about yourself?
Chapter two, my personal favorite. Insanity: Ever feel as though the world might be a bit, crazy? Or maybe, it's crazy to think the world could ever be sain at all. The true question might be: where does humanity sit in insanity?
The first chapter audio of my book, The Uncertain. Questions: Who, what, where, when and why? Is this the beginning of the end or a whole new beginning all together? Perhaps the most maddening question of all, how does one find themselves in the uncertain?
