Episode description

On this episode of the MacGuffin Guild, there comes a time when you've got to take a stand. And, that time is now.  In Judgment Night.

This 1993 Action Crime Thriller stars Emilio Esteves, Cuba Gooding Jr, Denis Leary, Stephen Dorff, Jeremy Piven, Peter Greene and Everest. Directed by Stephen Hopkins.

We're gonna talk about the works of Denis Leary, the tagline Justin doesn't like, who Stephen Hopkins wanted for the cast, the legendary Rap Rock soundtrack, and what caused this film to flop.

We'll dig into the details of Alan Silvestri's original score, why you shouldn't travel with Jeremy Piven, the split diopter lens, what's under Michael DeLorenzo's hat and how Adam Carola is involved in all of this.

We'll also get into the works and plight of Kevin Jarre, the time Pat got chased by suspected murderers, Batman Themes, The Fraggleverse and Stephen Hopkins’ loves.

I'm Pat Dougherty and as always I'll be joined by my fellow MacGuffin's Justin Jones and Mike Antonio.  Our theme song was written and performed by Jordan Vincent. Don't Move, Don't Whisper, Don't Even Breathe.  It's Judgment Night.
