SPECIAL EDITION - Soft Shell LAST WORDS
Aug 18, 2020•11 min
Episode description
In solidarity with those embroiled in complaints against GSA we present a collaborative piece of writing that came about as part of a conversation responding to Fred Moten and Stefano Harney’s text ‘The university: Last words’ and our own experiences of the institution.
Collectively authored by the current and continuing 19/20 Art Writing MLitt cohort.
The podcast version of the text explores ways multiple voices can be combined to confuse and obscure individual authorship through a process of layering. We keep in mind that complaint can be harmonious, unharmonious, discordant, it can hold competing voices; voices that recede or tire out. Nevertheless, we remind ourselves of the importance of collective action.
