Being a matchmaker taught me there’s a luxury in the convenience of having help with love. The successful men and women I worked with as a matchmaker understood the benefit of accelerating their path to love.

Yet they would overcomplicate finding a partner even with help. I realized there were key things happening:

• Overthinking, Anxiousness and Emotionally Attaching to Outcome
• Not Actually Being Clear on Right Partners and Courtship Process
• Confidence on the Outside While Not Feeling Good Enough on the Inside

It didn’t matter who I introduced them to if they didn’t change these things and had the belief that they didn’t need to…they prolonged the opportunity to attracting a partner, unnecessarily. And most importantly, they weren’t getting any younger and in the back of their mind was a time clock and family pressure only causing more stress. So they needed to work with their situation and avoid reality and work against it.
